Leap into a week where actions speak louder than words.  Stage combat, interpretive dance and pantomime are among the many movement arts that campers will explore in this high action week of camp. To top it off, campers will choreograph their own performance and create their own movement props!  From ribbon dancers to feathered fans, this is a week you won’t want to miss!

Prep your paint pallet, sharpen your pencils, and get ready to create!  Flex the right side of your brain as we paint, sculpt, and draw our way through another awesome week at camp. Mix colors and paint with acrylics and watercolor; learn how to mold, carve, and build three-dimensional works of art; and prepare to showcase your work for all to see at the summer camp art gallery on Friday. Campers will go home with their very own portfolio.

*No Camp on Wednesday, June 19 in recognition of the Juneteenth Holiday. Tuition will be prorated accordingly.

Are you ready for an amazing week of arts and crafts and honing in on your fiber arts skills? Campers will have the opportunity to learn new skills in weaving, knitting, stuffed animal creation, and so much more. Join us as we learn to make the best friendship bracelets on the planet, and get as creative as you’d like with our over the top puppet show put on by our very own campers! Can’t wait to see you there!

Welcome one and all to a super comedy improv show! Campers will learn all types of exciting improv games as we push the limits of creativity. Participants will try their hand at awesome activities like “Finish That Sentence,” “Stand, Sit, Jog,” and “What am I Doing?” We will case study some of the greatest improv actors of our time and try to channel their energy into the Friday Final Show!

*No Camp on Thursday, July 4 in recognition of the Independence Day Holiday. Tuition will be prorated accordingly.

From tiaras to anklets, come create your own unique style from head to toe! Campers will work with our IDEAS Camp Fashionistas to design and create their own jewelry and accessories. With full access to our extensive camp craft closet, campers will use beads, yarn, jewels, fabric paint and more to bring their designs to the runway! Over the week, campers will curate their own line of accessories to show off their incredible, one-of-a-kind style.  Before taking home the fashion pieces in their collection, campers will have the chance to showcase them at the IDEAS Camp Fashion Show!  No prior experience necessary, just bring your creative energy!

Take your imagination 3-dimensional in a fun week filled with art, design and building. Campers will use tons of different materials to express concepts of their choosing and showcase their creations in an end of week exhibition.

Mirror, mirror on the wall – who is the most creative camper of them all?  The sky’s the limit as campers design, author and illustrate comic books and short stories. Girls and boys alike will immerse themselves in a week of fairy tales, superheroes and comedy as they bring their original stories and characters to life.

You’ve seen your counselors do it a thousand times, now it’s your turn to step into the spotlight! In a hilariously over the top week of comedy and acting, campers will have the chance to practice and perform their original sketches along with all the classic camp skits for an audience of their peers. Teams of campers will be allotted stage time in the morning and afternoon during each day of camp to bring their ideas to life. Let’s see who can make our mascot Ozzie laugh the hardest.

Our Leadership

Rest assured parents, because we are obsessed with the details of sourcing, hiring, and training excellent instructors and counselors to work at IDEAS Camp. Since 1997, our company has a wealth of experience sourcing, hiring and training well-qualified professionals to lead your children, who are entrusted under our supervision and care, each and every day. All IDEAS Creative Adventures campers are led by experienced and creative adults who have extensive experience working in education and/or working in a camp setting.

Each IDEAS Camp instructor who works with your son or daughter is fully vetted and has passed local and nationwide criminal background checks, in-depth reference checks, and a behavioral personality test – all to ensure that our company core values are upheld and our expectations are fully met each and every camp day.

Moreover, we have a dedicated team at IDEAS Winter Camp Headquarters who work year-round to ensure each camp team member is a proper fit and represents our high level of standards including: safety, experience, courtesy, respect, professionalism, flexibility, and enjoyment. Our entire team of full time and seasonal professionals is filled with persons who lead-by-example, put others before themselves, serve as mentors and friends, and lastly celebrate your camper’s effort over results.

Our Training

IDEAS dedicated full time Talent Acquisition team works year-round at our Winter Headquarters, all of whom have children of their own and obsessed with the execution of a proven and extensive professional hiring process. Our Reviews

“All 3 of my girls appreciated the opportunity you provided them with last week. Jennifer (pre-k) now wants a rolling robot for Christmas, Julie (1st grader) said she wants an Ozzie birthday party (do you even do that?) and Billi (6th grader) told me last night she wants to become a space engineer because, as she told me, “we need more girls in space!” Incredible job. Thank you for inspiring my 3 girls. See you next summer.”

“As a single dad of two twins the school year becomes exhausting. When I heard you guys provide free snack and extended care I was ecstatic. I signed Bryan and Caleb up for your IDEAS Camps program because I knew they would love it. Well, they not only loved it, but I LOVED IT too. No lunch making, no rushing to pick them up or drop them off. You have made my summer so much more simple with all you offer and I want to thank you for that. Thank you.”

Ed K.

“Am I able to sign up for your camp the rest of the summer? We are in our third week of your camp and my son told me last night that he will not go anywhere else this summer. I am working on canceling and getting a refund from the camps he was supposed to attend this summer. Do you still have space if I can do so? Hopefully, we will see you again after the July 4th break. This is his second year attending a summer camp and I truly never thought he would love it this much, so thank you.”
